Plastic roof vents are a common leak point on tile roofs. Over time, plastic vents get brittle, sag, and let water under the flange, which can stain ceilings and cause damage. We replace these plastic vents with metal vents, bending an upturn into the flange so it sheds water instead of relying on caulking. On flat tiled roofs, we use hotweld gooseneck metal vents and on wavy profiled tile roofs we prefer lead‑flanged gooseneck vents that mold to the tile shape and close gaps. If your plastic vents are aging or you already have a leak, we can inspect your roof and upgrade the vents to a longer‑lasting metal solution.
