3. Requesting Quotes and Service Estimates
Any quotes provided by Aldergrove Roofing are estimates based on initial information and are subject to adjustment following a site inspection. Quotes are valid for a specified period, detailed in the quote document, and are not binding until accepted in a signed contract. Any changes to scope or cost discovered during inspection will be promptly communicated for approval before proceeding.

4. Customer Responsibilities and Obligations
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their property and ensuring access to the property as needed for inspections and services. Any issues or potential risks must be communicated in advance. Following service, customers must follow all post-service care and maintenance instructions provided by Aldergrove Roofing for optimal results and warranty protection.

5. Scheduling, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
Appointments are scheduled in advance. Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled time. A cancellation fee may apply if notice is given with less than 48 hours or if the property is inaccessible at the scheduled time. Aldergrove Roofing reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to weather or unforeseen conditions.

6. Payment Terms
Payment for services is due upon receipt of the final invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing. Invoices not paid within 30 days may incur a late fee on the outstanding balance. Aldergrove Roofing reserves the right to pursue collection for overdue accounts, and any associated collection costs, including legal fees, will be the responsibility of the customer.

7. Warranty Scope and Exclusions
Aldergrove Roofing provides a limited warranty on specific services and materials as detailed in the individual service contract. This warranty only covers work explicitly outlined in the signed agreement and excludes damages caused by acts of nature, improper maintenance, or normal wear outside the immediate service area. Warranty claims must be reported within the specified warranty period, and additional repairs outside this scope will be billed separately.

8. Disclaimer of Site Risks and Hidden Damages
Roofing services may reveal hidden structural issues or pre-existing conditions that were not detectable at the time of the quote. Aldergrove Roofing is not responsible for damages arising from these pre-existing conditions. Any necessary adjustments to scope or cost due to hidden damages will be communicated and must be agreed upon before further work proceeds.

9. Force Majeure
Aldergrove Roofing is not liable for any delay or failure to perform services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, supply shortages, labor strikes, pandemics, or governmental regulations. In such cases, Aldergrove Roofing will notify the customer as soon as possible and will work to reschedule the affected services at the earliest opportunity.

10. Indemnification
By using Aldergrove Roofing’s services, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Aldergrove Roofing, its employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from misuse of services, failure to provide accurate property information, or failure to maintain a safe site.

11. Liability
Aldergrove Roofing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from or connected to our services, except where such limitation is prohibited by Canadian law. In case of any issue with our services, customers must notify us within the warranty period. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of defective work or materials as applicable under the warranty.

12. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, materials, logos, and branding on this website and in our promotional materials are the exclusive property of Aldergrove Roofing or used under proper authorization. Unauthorized use of any content is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

13. Legal Fees and Dispute Costs
In the event of a dispute requiring legal action, each party will bear their respective legal costs. However, should the dispute result in a court judgment, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and costs as awarded by the court.
